that the i-41/us-45 sb systerm ramp to i-94 eb is now closed long term until spring 2017. this will have an impact on your morning drive.drivers will want use the following detours. watertown plank rd to hwy 100 and rejoin at the rampbluemound rd. to 84th st on ramp to i-94 eb or for commuters from the north take either hwy 60 or 167 to i-43 toward downtown.the i-94 eb to i-41/us-45 nb system ramp is now closed long we begin with breaking news... a woman is in critical condition this morning after a hit-and-run on the south side of milwaukee. milwaukee. it happened around two this morning... on west greenfield avenue.cbs 58's julie parise joins us live at the scene... with the investigators are trying to find the driver of the car that hit this woman, leaving her with serious injuries before driving off.the problem is -- they don't have a lot of information to work with, and no description of the car. the intersection where this accident happened is blocked off this morning.there are a number of officers here directing traffic and investigating what happened. the victim of the hit and run is in the hospital - we don't know yet the nature of her

stay with cbs 58 for the latest on this developing story live in mke im jp cbs 58 this crash is about half a mile from the site of ?another? hit-and-run that happned just two days ago.now police are hoping surveillance photos can help them find the person responsible. take a look.this is the silver s-u-v police are lo collided near muskego and mitchell on milwaukee's south side monday night.police say the person on the bike was badly hurt... and apparently ignored the red light.the s-u-v left the scene.we're told it could be a 2001 or newer 'mitsubishi montero' four-door s-u-v. if you have any information.. you're asked to call milwaukee police. new this morning---one man is dead after a stabbing in milwau. milwaukee.it happened around 7:30 last night near 24-th and

stabbed during an argument. paramedics tried to save the man--- but he died at a local hospital.police are still looking for the person responsible. looking ahead--- two men accused of stabbing a local chef to death... will be arraigned today in milwaukee county court. court.imed chabbouh and hussain samihave been charged with aggravated battery in the stabbing death of shawn ostrom last month.he was a chef at the pfister hotel.police say ostrom had wounds to his neck and chest when he was found in the 17-hundred block of north pulaski street. now to a developing story--- a domestic violence organization is asking for help .police say... 19-year-old "nya hammond" was killed by her ex- boyfriend... and the group is trying to pay for her funeral. reps at sojourner family peace center say... they've already raised about two-thousand dollars-- but they're still about seven thousand short. hammond was found shot to death in a parking lot in glendale, where she worked. she had a three-year-old son. hammond will be buried on friday. we're told the fund usually designated for this has been depleted. and they

also offer a number of programs to help build resumes and job assesments.today's job center will be at umos on south chase avenue from nine this morning until seven o'clock tonight. a century old tavern is in the way of a new state road project.but it's not getting demolished. instead-- they're moving it... a whopping 25 feet. feet.preperations are underway right now to move "bosch tavern" this weekend. it was built in 1904 and is still very popular. but the state says a new turn lane for comfort. so.. the tavern owners are using the move... as an opportunity for a "tavern tug" fundraiser to benefit penfield's childrens center. for ten dollars.. you can pull it 25 feet to it's new location on saturday. if you'd like more information... click "newslinks" on our website-- cbs 58 dot com. watch out for the kids... on your way into work this morning. its international walk to school day. today the wauwatosa school district will join schools from around the

this morning... hundreds of students from all 11 of the district's elementary schools will walk to school...along with parents, teachers and community leaders.walk to school day events aim to raise awareness of the need to make safer routes for walking and biking...and to promote physical activity among children.internationally ...nearly 37-hundred schools are registered to take part. the waukesha police department received a special gift yesterday.. and they're taking to social media to say "thank y" you!"the department posted these p page. it says..."we would like to thank the special guests from horning middle school who stopped at the police department this morning to distribute "police officer survival kits" to our officers. this was a very thoughtful and kind gesture that we appreciate. we are fortunate to have community members like these. great job horning middle school!"

scott was shot and killed by a police officer in september.. during an incident outside a charlotte apartment complex. his death sparked days of sometimes violent protests in charlotte. 3 the 6-year-old boy who died in last week's school shooting in south carolina... will be laid to rest today.jacob hall was shot and killed by a 14-year-old teenager on the playground of townville elementary.mourners plan to wear superhero tee-shirts and costumes in the little boy's honor. surveillance video shows... someone using a ?truck? to break down the front of a convenience store. out.the truck bashes into the doors several times.it happened at this "chevron gas station" in mid-september. police say... the men spent ?two minutes? breaking down the front doors.then--- two men get out of the truck... and take off with an ?a-t-m.? police say... it wasn't bolted down.police found the a-t-m the next day in a drainage ditch.it was ?empty.?they're hoping this video will help lead them to the people responsible.

3 our top story this morning... the presidential campaign trail comes back through southeastern wisconsin today. today.donald trump junior will host a roundtable discussion in brookfield.. as he campaigns for his father. cbs 58's kyle aevermann has a preview.kyle? that roundtable will get underway at 8 o'clock this morning here at the embassy suites. donald trump junior will be joined by senate majority leader scott fitzgerald former lieutenant governor margaret farrow.they will be answering questions about donald trump's campaign.no questions will be off limits. around 200 hundred people are expected this morning.you do need a ticket to get in. and you're asked to arrive early. doors open at 7:30 this morning, and again the event begins at 8 o'clock, and is expected to last for about 2 hours.after his event here, donald trump junior will also host another discussion in wassau later on today.live in

bracing for the storm. in south florida... people ?aren't? taking chances with hurricane matthew.gas stations across the miami area were packed yesterday. drivers filling up.. ahead of matthew. people also stocked up at grocery stores and others businesses for food, water and emergency supplies.people also stopped by a-t-m's for cash. 3 some members of the ?wisconsin national guard? are in cuba-- bracing for the ?full force? of hurricane matthew.the guard tells us... soldiers with the 32-nd polico stationed in guantanamo bay.... ?and? they may ?not? be able to get in contact with their families because of the storm. brown deer police say it's one of the worst dog attacks they've seen... and they have the video to prove it. we are choosing ?not? to show the video in full... because it's too graphic...and to respect the families of the victims.two dogs were involved. police shot and killed one adult pit bull that was biting two 14-year-old girls in the yard of a house.a second dog was shot when it came after responding officers. "i've been in law enforcement for almost 30 years and i've
